Exemption Statement

Degree programs offered by Emmanuel Theology Seminary are religious in nature and are designed for theological education and preparation for ministry. The institution operates under a religious exemption in accordance with North Carolina General Statute (G.S. 116-15(d)) and is not subject to state licensure.

Emmanuel Theology Seminary is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by the University of North Carolina System or any state regulatory authority.

Exemption from licensure is granted for religious education and does not constitute evaluation or endorsement of academic programs under state licensing standards.

Student Complaints Statement

The State Authorization Unit of the University of North Carolina System Office serves as the official state entity to receive complaints concerning post-secondary institutions that are authorized to operate in North Carolina.
